#93 Hampden 8 Marks - LFCH
Here it is! The legendary Hampden 8 Marks! I’ve reviewed them recently, but I was doing filler reviews just to make sure that I can celebrate my 100 reviews with these. I feel like this set is sort of a rite of passage for people who are into rum.
Review
Smell
Light, fruity, pineapple. Not as much going on on the nose as OWH
Taste
Bright, fruity, banana, blueberry, licorice, bitter, dry, complex, much sharper than OWH or LROK. Finishes grassy, licorice, and rotten banana. Wild and complex.
In a daiquiri, also better than either OWH or LROK. Fruity, banana, and also the sweetness really improves it.
